From there it should hold pressure and the pump should run while cranking to keep pressure to the system. If turned off and back on soon after the pump will not run if the pressure is still there.2020 xp4 1000 won’t start. Had to give it a shot of starting fluid to start. Used the ranger several times with no problem starting. The starter was turning but not engaging. Dad broke the starter clutch bolts on his Polaris RZR 1... Line up the cam gear with the xrank pin pointing toward the top of the cylinder. Then pull rhe 14 mm bolt on the top of the stator housing. You should see a timing mark on the stator. If you dont turn the cam gear one more revolution. Everything could work (lights, winch, etc.) But if the volts aren't high enough it won't crank, only click. You can check fuses and relays, will be a cheaper and easier fix than a new battery. You have to find out when your spark plug is firing if it is firing when its top dead center magneto key should be fine but if not firing top dead center you have problem. 2017 Ranger xp900 won't start. I have a 2017 Ranger XP900 and it will not start. It will turn over just fine, but that's about it. I have been looking for some schematics, or something to see how all of the wiring is, with no luck. Before then, it did try to die a few times, almost sounded like 1 cylinder just quit running randomly.

I know it's harder to get to on the 570, but with my machine it's less than 5 minutes to get it up and running if it's the plug. "There are no problems. Remove one of the coils from the spark plug. Use an extra spark plug. A spark plug tester. Or even a screwdriver in the end of the coil. Ground it on a piece of metal on the engine. Finally, have someone crank the engine and watch for a spark.
