First, an overview of the WoW (US) network infrastructure. All US servers are hosted in 3 data centers, located in Chicago, Los Angeles and Sydney. OCE realms are hosted in Sydney and all Latin American / Brazilian realms in Chicago. That explains why most people not on the west coast lag badly when grouped with players from OCE.. Chattanooga

Dalaran (US) Dalaran is one of the first servers released and back in the WOTLK time, it had one of the best progress guilds on both factions. Nowadays, Alliance rules this server with over 70% of the realm's population. The server has its benefits and drawbacks that go with any other server.So for example your realm might follow Central time zone but the datacenter the realm belongs to could be in LA. I found this information on wow wiki. They had a list on thier website as well but they included that it might not be up to date. Not a New York data center. Server time and data center location dont correlate.. Why not simply add a server with the same name but 2 on it and enable free transfers between servers. heck you could even enable cross realm with only those 2 servers. then use layers for high pop zones like they are doing now anywase for example benediction1 and benediction 2 this would clear up any issues with ques and would allow people to play. then when population dies down, close the ...Prob a 70-30 split.
