Start by removing the heaviest amp draw first. My guess is the motor seized over the summer. If not the motor work your way back through each connection.If it spins the motor is good. Then check the solenoid for power switching. You should hear a click when engaging up/left or right ( shut the truck off but turn the key on. Turn the radio down and the heater off. No click then check the brown wire for power when up/lwft/right. if power check for ground to the other side.Yes the module controls power to the controller.
